The Regiobahn GmbH intends to award the contract for the upcoming vegetation work for the electrification of the Neuss – Kaarst line. The Neuss – Kaarst route from km 0.900 to 7.100 is to be worked on in the period until 29.02.2024. The woody vegetation in the pruning zone, including all station tracks, is to be worked on both sides 6 m from the middle of the track (+ growth surcharge 1 m) to the left and right of the railway, free of vegetation (open U-profile).
The Regiobahn GmbH intends to award the contract for the upcoming vegetation work for the electrification of the Neuss – Kaarst line. The Neuss – Kaarst route from km 0.900 to 7.100 is to be worked on in the period until 29.02.2024. The vegetation in the pruning zone, including all station tracks, is to be worked on both sides 6 m from the middle of the track (+ growth surcharge 1 m) to the left and right of the railway, free of vegetation (open U-profile). In the wider area, vegetation up to 10 m from the middle of the track has to be worked on. A neighbouring track is being built here. Signal vision fabrication work involving +6m shall be considered by the contractor. This work is to be carried out during ongoing operations. The security procedure is determined by the contractor. Clippings should be chopped where possible and blown evenly in the rear stock. Larger clippings can be removed using the two-way technology. There are 2 areas dedicated to deposit and prompt disposal. The track will be closed for 3 shifts. During the same period, the route will be mulched using road-rail technology and tree felling work will be carried out. The strata presented in the course are estimates and do not serve as a basis for billing. Only persons who have been instructed on the track (behaviour in the track area) are allowed to carry out the work. A route inspection in advance is a basic prerequisite for submitting an offer.
