The tendered framework agreement covers the supply of food to Ærø Municipality, The Elderly and Health. Ærø Food Service produces food for visited senior citizens residing in Ærø Municipality. Overall, Ærø Food Service produces approx. 126,000 meals a year. Of these, 90,000 are hot meals for visited elderly citizens, including citizens at the nursing homes, in the disability and psychiatry area. In addition, food is delivered to the ferries, which are operated by Ærø Municipality.

The proportion of cold meals is 36,000. Ærø Food Service delivers the food chilled once a week. In addition, Ærø Food Service also produces food for other units, e.g. meeting catering. Ærø Food Service also intends to be able to produce food for the institutions on Ærø, where it is assessed that they can advantageously have food delivered from outside rather than producing themselves.
The future supplier will deliver food to Ærø Food Service, Gasværksvej 10, 5960 Marstal. This is the only delivery address to which delivery is to be made under the framework agreement. However, a future supplier must be prepared for the specific delivery address to be changed during the term of the framework agreement if the production kitchen changes address on Ærø. Also covered by the framework agreement is the nursing homes' need for dry goods. Fresh products for the nursing homes are not covered by the framework agreement.
It can be stated that it is possible for the Offeror to book fixed ferry crossings to/from Ærø. The tariffs for freight transport to the island are advantageous and can be found on ÆrøFærgerne's website: aeroe-ferry.dk. It is possible to cancel booked crossings before the ferry departure and thus possible to avoid unnecessary payment of crossings.
The annual total turnover is estimated at DKK 2,500,000 excl. VAT, with a total estimated turnover during the term of the framework agreement of DKK 10,000,000 (including options). Volume is purely indicative and based on historical figures, which is why they cannot be taken as an indication of a guaranteed future revenue size. The maximum value of the framework agreement is estimated to be DKK 12,000,000 (incl. options).
