As part of the revitalization of the City Center, the City Council decided to launch a program of redevelopment of the Friches Garnier, located at the southern end of the Port district. These brownfield sites located in the Port district occupy a built-up area of 21,185 m2. The project consists of the deconstruction of an area of 18,000 m2. The remaining building with a surface area of 3,185 m2 will be preserved and redeveloped on an area of 1,200 m2 and the remaining area will be closed and reinforced
This project management contract concerns:
- The realization of studies relating to asbestos removal, deconstruction of the sheds (in red on the plan below) and the museum part (in green on the plan below),
- the realization of studies relating to the reinforcement and securing of the large preserved nave (Storage Hall) with the restoration of the stabilities, the realization of 2 gables and the cladding of a long section, and the creation of a closed area at the back of it;
- The realization of studies relating to asbestos removal work, partial deconstruction of the umbrella hall for a stripping of the metal structure;
- The planning and organization of cleaning and cleaning operations prior to deconstruction work;
- The constitution of planning permission files (demolition permit and prior declaration);
- The preparation of the companies' consultation file, the analysis of tenders and assistance in the award of contracts;
- The follow-up of the works.
