Oslo kommune, The Water and Sewage Authority (VAV) is responsible for the management of waterway facilities connected to the water supply.

VAV is responsible for:

— 32 dams in the water supply

— 12 dams that have been in the water supply or have a cleansing effect in the waterway.

— 29 recreational dams

— 17 abutment dams/barrier dams

— seven transfer tunnels

— three bypass tunnels

With so many waterway facilities, there is continually a need for rehabilitation, re-evaluations, major inspections, flood calculations, dam breach wave calculations and assessments regarding classification.

VAV wants to enter into a four year framework agreement on consultancy services with a consulting company.
