the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes is the beacon of the Cannes economy. Inaugurated in 1982, it hosts all year round international events that position Cannes as a major destination in France, just after Paris. As part of its congress activities, the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes rents tents, tents and temporary structures in order to offer its customers more spaces for trade shows. The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes and its manager SEMEC must select a service provider in order to present their customers with qualitative and innovative solutions of equipment and services for events. The contract covers the rental of CTS structures (unit area of up to 1,500 m2), including air conditioning and heating equipment, electrical distribution, atmosphere/emergency lighting and other ancillary equipment intended primarily for exhibitions and exhibitions. As an indication, in 2019, the marquees, tents and structures established during the various fairs hosted at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes represented approximately 24,000 square meters of floor space, including about 5,500 square meters for MIPIM, 4,500 m2 for MIPCOM and TAX-FREE, 2,600 m2 for canes lions and 6,900 meters square for all other trade fares.it is an operation of great magnitude and complexity, with very strong constraints related to assembly and dismantling times. The periods of assembly, maintenance and disassembly follow each other throughout the year totaling more than 80 days of events spread over twenty major fairs. In situ services are framed by design and closing phases.
Note that given the activities of the Palais des Festivals and Congresses, the services may require interventions on weekends and holidays
