I/S Vestforbrænding offers reception and decomposition of the fractions unpainted indoor wood, outdoor and painted wood, as well as garden waste. The fractions are collected at I/S Vestforbrænding's recycling stations and, to a lesser extent, in municipal bulky waste schemes and driven to I/S Vestforbrænding's site at Strandvangen 15 in Frederikssund, where the operator awarded the tendered contract will carry out the receipt and reduction of the fractions. The total amount of the fractions is expected to amount to a total of 100,000 tons per year, although the fractions vary during the year as the fractions are seasonal.

The tender contains conditions that the winning bidder is obliged to take/acquire the demolition equipment currently used to carry out the demolition, as well as two water cannons. The winning bidder is therefore obliged to enter into the transfer agreement for the demolition equipment and water cannons, which is enclosed as part of the overall tender documents, with I/S Vestforbrænding. A detailed description of the demolition equipment and water cannons can be found in the tender documents. The price offered by the tenderer for the demolition equipment and water cannons is included in the overall evaluation. In addition, the winning bidder is obliged to lease the area on the site in Frederikssund where the reception and division of the fractions is to take place. The winning bidder is therefore obliged to enter into the land lease agreement enclosed as part of the overall tender documents. The rent for the areas constitutes the market rent and is thus fixed in advance. During the tender process, it will be possible to inspect the areas as well as the demolition equipment and water cannons. Further details are given in the tender documents.
The tender also contains conditions stating that the winning bidder is obliged to take over the employees of I/S Vestforbrænding, a total of 4 employees, who are currently engaged in the demolition task. This means that the winning bidder assumes the rights and obligations existing at the time of acquisition.
The contract put out to tender is not put out to tender in lots. The reason for this is that I/S Vestforbrænding has assessed that a split would lead to a number of inappropriate legal and practical interfaces, just as there are significant economic economies of scale in tendering the contract as a single contract.
