CNIEL wishes to overhaul its INFOLABO tool based on a database containing the daily analysis results and the monthly results for payment of all French milk producers that went into production in 2006.
Infolabo is a computer system for disseminating the results of milk analyzes to the various actors in the sector. It has been developed to answer mainly to 3 objectives:
- facilitate the transfer of information, particularly between interprofessional laboratories and dairy companies,
- offer dairies and producers an equivalent level of service throughout the country in terms of consultation and receipt of test results,
- achieve economies of scale.
CNIEL wishes to overhaul its Infolabo tool, which is based on a database containing the results of daily analyzes and the monthly results for payment of all French milk producers that went into production in 2006.
Key points:
- supply of the database,
- a consultation service, accessible on the move that will allow any interprofessional actor (laboratory, dairy, producer) to consult his analysis results on the Internet; the Infolabo administrator to see all the results in place of a laboratory, a producer or a dairy, whatever it is,
- a reception service, which will allow producers and dairies to receive their analysis results according to different media (SMS, fax, email, FTP account),
- an export service, which will allow dairies or organizations to receive analytical results in the form of flat files,
- data recovery.
An essential point in the project to redesign the Infolabo tool.
It is essential to have access to a data history for all actors in the sector.
- logging and archiving of data and reports,
- interoperability.
Implement a system that is as open as possible (and totally secure), particularly to facilitate exchanges with other databases.
