The overall service includes:

1. Transport: Packing, transport and art handling of the loans according to loan lists from the lenders - in consultation with the Art and Culture Development Foundation - to a collection point in Tashkent and on to the James-Simon-Galerie/Neues Museum

2. Organisation of courier support and coordination of attendance times during the installation in Berlin for all loans (period 11 April - 03 May 2023)

3. Completion of all customs formalities and import permits of loans from Uzbekistan when imported into Germany

4. Return transport: Art handling, packaging and courier support of all loans from the exhibition venue Museumsinsel Berlin back to the lenders

5. Organisation of courier assistance and coordination of attendance times during uninstallation (period 01-15 October 2023; in case of extension 05-19 November 2023)

6. Completion of all customs formalities and repatriation permits of loans from Uzbekistan when exported from Germany

Scheduling:

The period from 11 April to 02 May 2023 is planned for the exhibition set-up including the delivery and unpacking of the loans and the installation in the exhibition rooms. The latest delivery of the last loans from Uzbekistan must take place by 12 April, for the loans from Berlin by 28 April 2023.

The period from 02 to 30 November 2023 is planned for the dismantling of the exhibition, including uninstallation, packaging and return transport to the lenders. The earliest return transport can take place, subject to the time for uninstallation, restoration assessment and handover logging together with the courier, from 06 November 2023). The loan period ends on 30 November 2023: By then, all loans must have been returned to the lenders.
