The aim of the procurement is to give IFE solutions and equipment for the temporary storage of used nuclear fuel (called the 'storage solution') through a framework agreement with one tenderer consisting of a preliminary project (concept design) and seven service categories that cover different aspects of the storage solution (the 'framework agreement').
The tenderer must ensure a cost efficient and secure storage solution that permits subsequent removal and transport of the used atomic fuel ('SNF') to a treatment facility.
The complete tender documentation will be sent with an invitation to submit a tender. Only tenderers that are invited to submit a tender will receive the complete tender documentation.
