The Federal Network Agency intends to commission support services in the field of grid expansion of power line projects in the transmission grid. The focus is on legal support services in the area of approval procedures in accordance with § 29 of the Grid Expansion Acceleration Act on the Transmission Grid (NABEG).

The invitation to tender is divided into four partial lots, which, for technical reasons, are divided into four procedures. For the present lot 1, the hourly requirement within the maximum 48-month contract period is estimated to be between 19,500 and 78,500 hours.

The focus of the contract is on legal support services in the area of approval procedures in accordance with § 29 of the Grid Expansion Acceleration Act on the Transmission Grid (NABEG). This mainly involves the preparation of draft decisions, the monitoring of individual procedural steps as well as concrete project-related questions, the answers to which require legal expertise available at short notice and corresponding experience in administrative and judicial proceedings. Environmental expertise is also required for the required service (at the contractor himself or through the involvement of third parties).

For the present lot 1, the hourly requirement within the maximum 48-month contract period is estimated to be between 19,500 and 78,500 hours.
