The number of households in the Iwierzyce Commune from which waste should be collected as at the beginning of September 2023 is 1957. The area of the commune is 65.58 km2 and consists of 9 villages. In the Municipality of Iwierzyce, municipal waste collection takes place mainly in a bag system. Bags with a capacity of 60 l to 120 l, made of foil, are used for collection. 4.4. The contract covers collection, transport and development from the properties where the occupants reside:4.4.1. non-segregated (mixed) municipal waste collected in appropriately marked bags displayed on the collection route, in the amount of about 420 Mg,4.4.2. segregated municipal waste collected in appropriately marked bags displayed on the collection route, such as: paper, cardboard and packaging waste from paper and cardboard, glass waste including packaging waste made of colourless and coloured glass, metal wastes, including metal packaging waste, plastic waste, including plastic packaging waste, and multi-material packaging waste, bio-waste - biodegradable waste from gardens, food and kitchen waste from households, household ashes, displayed on the collection route, and segregated municipal waste collected at the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point (hereinafter referred to as PSZOK) located next to Water and Sewage Plant in Iwierzyce 125 A, such as: paper, cardboard and packaging waste from paper and cardboard, glass waste including packaging waste made of colorless and colored glass, metal waste, including metal packaging waste, plastic waste, including plastic packaging waste, and multi-material packaging waste, biodegradable waste including bio-waste, in an amount of about 425 Mg.
