Bolsover District Council on behalf of Derbyshire County Council Public Health wish to appoint an organisation, that will co-ordinate and deliver activities with targeted communities and schools to raise aspirations of residents within these selected areas to address the wider determinants of health. The appointed organisation will be expected to meet with schools and Public Health Locality Leads to agree a localised strategy before commencing delivery. The appointed organisation, or consortium, will require a solid understanding and demonstrable experience of working in communities, including partnership working with schools to actively engage residents with a variety of needs, for example, low academic attainment, low confidence and self-esteem.
