The subject of the contract is the collection and management of municipal waste from: Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point and from inhabited and uninhabited real estate, located in the City and Commune of Jabłonowo Pomorskie, consisting in: collection, transport and processing of waste, including the transfer of waste to the appropriate waste treatment installation.

The general characteristics of the City and Commune of Jabłonowo Pomorskie in the context of waste collection and management and the classification of municipal waste collected from the real estate of the City and Commune of Jabłonowo Pomorskie in the period from 01.10.2021 to 30.09.2022 are included in Chapter III of the SWZ. A detailed description of the subject of the contract is contained in Chapter III of the Specification of the Terms of The Contract. Types of municipal waste selectively collected by the Contractor from property owners (at source, at the place of waste generation):

(1) paper and paperboard, including waste paper, waste paper, cardboard, cardboard, packaging waste from paper and paperboard;

(2) glass, including white and coloured glass waste, glass packaging waste;

(3) plastics, including plastic waste, plastic packaging waste, multi-material packaging waste;

(4) metals, including metal waste, packaging waste from metals;

5) biodegradable waste, including kitchen bio-waste, waste resulting from the care of green areas and during the Christmas period of the Christmas tree (in its entirety);

6) unsegregated (mixed) municipal waste, i.e. residues after segregation;

7) ash.

Types of municipal waste collected by the Contractor from the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point during its working hours:

(1) paper and paperboard, including waste paper, waste paper, cardboard, cardboard, packaging waste from paper and paperboard;

(2) glass, including white and coloured glass waste, glass packaging waste;

(3) plastics, including plastic waste, plastic packaging waste, multi-material packaging waste;

(4) metals, including metal waste, packaging waste from metals;

5) biodegradable waste, including kitchen bio-waste, waste resulting from the care of green areas and during the Christmas period of the Christmas tree (in its entirety);

6) expired drugs and chemicals;

7) waste batteries and accumulators;

8) waste electrical and electronic equipment;

9) furniture and other bulky waste, constituting municipal waste;

10) construction and demolition waste constituting municipal waste;

11) used tyres from passenger or two-track vehicles;

12. hazardous waste and waste not eligible for medical waste generated in households as a result of taking medicinal products by injection and monitoring the level of substances in the blood, in particular needles and syringes;

13) waste textiles and clothing.

Requirements for the transfer of collected unsegregated (mixed) municipal waste to municipal installations: the transfer of waste must take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, in particular in the field of health and safety, fire protection, environmental protection, sanitary and construction conditions, etc. The Contractor is obliged to transfer the collected mixed municipal waste and green waste to the municipal installation in accordance with applicable law in this respect. Separately collected municipal waste as part of waste management The Contractor is obliged to transfer to the recovery and disposal facility, in accordance with the waste hierarchy referred to in the Act of 14 December 2012 on waste. In the event of a failure or closure of a municipal installation, the Contractor will be obliged to deliver waste at its own expense to the installation intended for replacement service.

The Contractor will be obliged to perform the subject of the contract in accordance with the applicable provisions of law, m.in in the field of waste management and environmental protection, in particular the provisions of: the Act of 13.09.1996 on maintaining cleanliness and order in municipalities,

Act of 14.12.2012 on waste, implementing acts issued on the basis of the acts indicated above, Regulations for maintaining cleanliness and order in the City and Commune of Jabłonowo Pomorskie, municipal, district and provincial acts of local law (...).
