Design-build contract for the supply and installation of 3 (three) electric pump groups at the Vila Franca de Xira pumping station, including maintenance services", under the terms better defined in the Tender Documents, respective annexes and in the Declaration of Guarantees signed by the successful bidder in the proposal (hereinafter referred to as the "Declaration of Guarantees").

The present contract aims, mainly, at the elaboration of the Detailed Design for the supply and installation of 3 (three) electric pump groups at the Vila Franca de Xira pumping station by the contractor, and the inherent execution by the contractor of the "Design-construction contract for the supply and installation of 3 (three) electric pump groups at the Vila Franca de Xira pumping station", in accordance with the applicable legislation, with the documents of the procedure, and according to the characteristics and conditions stipulated in the tender documents, and also includes the provision of maintenance services for motors and the corresponding variable speed drives, for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of signature of the full provisional acceptance of the contract, including the repair and replacement of parts and equipment when necessary, as best defined in the parts of the procedure.

the subject of the contract includes:

i. Design and elaboration of the detailed design for the supply and installation of 3 (three) pumps at the Vila Franca de Xira Pumping Station, 3 (three) electric motors and corresponding variable speed drives, which will include the adaptation of the existing mechanical, electrical and civil construction installations, adapting the geometry of the new electric pump sets and other infrastructures to the existing ones. Two (2) backup electric motors will also be provided;

ii. Execution of the contract, construction of infrastructures, civil construction work, mechanical and electrical installations, supply, assembly and commissioning of electric pump and variable speed drive sets, factory tests, commissioning, start-up and demonstration of guarantees;

iii. All works and services intended to demonstrate, after completion of the work and before provisional acceptance, that the obligations of result and guarantees provided for in the contract have been fulfilled;

iv. Provision of maintenance services for motors, and corresponding variable speed drives, for a period of 5 (five) years from the date of signature of the full provisional acceptance of the contract, including the repair and replacement of parts and equipment when necessary, in addition to the supply of spare parts, for an additional period of 5 (five) years from the date of completion of the provision of maintenance services;

v. Provision of the obligations and/or payments resulting from the guarantees applicable under the tender in accordance with the provisions of the procedure documents.
