IBA Hamburg GmbH, as an urban project developer, was commissioned by the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing to develop an attractive, densely populated residential area for all population groups, in accordance with printed matter 2014/02753 "Further development of five areas on the Elbe islands by IBA Hamburg GmbH".
The basis for the development of the central Wilhelmsburg projects Elbinselquartier and Wilhelmsburger Rathausviertel is the relocation of the Wilhelmsburger Reichsstraße, which currently cuts through the areas in a north-south direction. At the end of 2019, the new route along the railway line running east of the areas was put into operation. For example, on a total area of around 80 hectares in the two project areas, IBA Hamburg GmbH will be able to develop new quarters for living and working. Around 3,900 apartments, new commercial space, day-care centres, a primary and district school as well as a landscape axis with allotments, sports, leisure and recreational facilities are being built here on urban land.
The cycle highway connection with parallel pedestrian path offers the special experience of walking along the landscape axis or cycling along it. In order to create a symbiotic connection between urban mobility and near-natural spatial design, the IBA is planning to build several bridges over the canals and rivers running through the area.
The subject of these plans (IBW and structural engineering) are the bridge structures B1, B2 and B3 (WRV) and B17 (EIQ).
The basis for the planning is the present preliminary planning from 2020.
The estimated total construction costs are approximately 1,859,500 euros net. These are distributed among the structures as follows:
- B1 (WRV): approx. 561,000 euros net,
- B2 (WRV): approx. 530,000 euros net,
- B3 (WRV): approx. 385,500 euros net,
- B17 (EIQ): approx. 383,000 euros net.
As part of the awarding process, the services listed here will be awarded.
- Object planning of civil engineering structures (bridges) according to § 41 to § 44 HOAI and Annex 12.1 HOAI for work phases 2 (partially) to 6 and optionally 7-9;
The design services are to be carried out using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) method. For this purpose, the following use cases (AwF) according to the Hamburg BIM Guideline (Version 3) are required: 030 planning variants, 040 visualizations, 060 planning progress control and quality control, 080 derivation of planning documents, 090 approval process, 100 quantity and cost determination, 110 bill of quantities, tendering, awarding, 190 building documentation.
- Structural engineering according to § 49 to § 52 HOAI and Annex 14.1 HOAI for work phases 2 - 6;
Special / additional services:
- Optional: Local construction supervision for civil engineering structures (bridges) as a special service in accordance with HOAI 2021 Annex 12, Section 12.1 to § 43 paragraph 4;
- Optional: Additional planning-accompanying consulting services on a small scale, for example to clarify the interfaces with the responsible departments (e.g. LSBG-K).
