In the context of the present tender, the contracting authority intends to conclude an agreement for the supply of four new mobile fire monitors UGV, UGV system.
For the project realization of mobile resources for the project TankPutBrandbestrijd 2.0 (TPB2.0), the GB is looking for a UGV system to be able to extinguish the tank pit fire scenario. Because a tank pit fire concerns a large scenario and has specific risks, it was decided to work with unmanned mobile monitors. This is based on the fact that due to various factors it is not desirable to position personnel in the immediate vicinity of the tank farm containment area in order to carry out work.
Fighting a tank pit fire involves many logistical matters, which is why it is important to consider the user-friendliness, logistics, speed and multifunctionality in addition to paying attention to the safety and functionality of the mobile monitors.
