The line bundle serves to connect the northwestern district area to the Wittlich Hbf railway station on the Moselle line. In addition, there are facilities for connections between the local communities and the assigned basic centers (Morbach, Neumagen-Dhron and Thalfang) or middle centers (Bernkastel-Kues, Traben-Trarbach and Wittlich as well as Hermeskeil in the LK Trier-Saarburg). The cross-district line 380 takes into account the transport connections in the medium-central network between Morbach, Thalfang and Hermeskeil. It is essential to ensure the accessibility of all school and kindergarten locations in the catchment area.
