The areas that are planned to be covered by the contract with a service provider are (the list is not exhaustive):
— Operation of the complete production milieu at the service provider.
— Operate the Service desk as Legemiddelverket's SPoC (internal and/or external).
— Operation of (platform for) a test environment for self-developed applications and archive system.
— Operation of approx. 250 PCs and laptops with Windows client-OS and Microsoft Office as the customer's primary client.
— Operation of client independent VDI-systm for access to the production and test environment, as the customer's secondary client.
— Operation of the print service that includes Legemiddelverket's printers/multi-functional printers (currently different models from Lexmark, Xerox and HP).
— Operation of the Exchange e-mail system, including access to e-mail via Outlook Web App and mail client on smart telephones and tablets.
— Operation of redundant network connection (WAN) provided by the service provider.
— Operation of Legemiddelverket's Aruba-based internet network (LAN/WLAN employee network, BYOD-network and guest network)
— Access to other applications that the Legemiddelverket subscribes to.
— Access to Eudranet, as well as Norsk helsenett with connection to teh eResept system.
