Description:
Acquisition of Airborne Image Data for Earth Observation

CNES wants to acquire image data at a very fine resolution, so that it can simulate different operating points for Earth observation satellites. These images will have to cover a wide spectral domain to be as versatile as possible and will be used in a spatial imaging context.

Note that certain data manipulated will bear the protection mention “Restricted Diffusion — Special France”.

Procurement and Preparation of Visible Tape Acquisition System and SWIR (Firm)

Note that certain data manipulated will bear the protection mention “Restricted Diffusion — Special France”.

The acquisition of airborne data requires the establishment of an acquisition system, with one or more drones, and cameras adapted to cover multiple spectral bands, from visible to thermal infrared. These spectral bands will need to be co-recorded in a very precise manner.

Two acquisition campaigns are planned, over typically three days and three nights: the 1 st in the spring of 2022, the 2 of autumn 2022.

The activity concerns the definition and implementation of the acquisition system, its use, the processing of images to meet the overall need (mosaic, co-registration).
