The central treatment plant at North Jæren shall be expanded and rebuilt with activated sludge for compliance with the secondary treatment requirements. As a part of these works it shall be established a new access to existing underground facilities and the existing underground facilities shall be rebuilt, renovated and expanded with new caverns and new features.

This contract, B1, includes:

— Demolition of the existing parts of the existing treatment plant, including removal of the machine system and materials.

— Blasting of the rock caverns, scaling of rock surfaces, the securing of rock(s)and the transport of the blasted rock / soil.

— Concrete including steel works.
