Public institution "Šiauliai Region Waste Management Center" (hereinafter referred to as the Customer) intends to acquire the works of installation of external protective embankments (including soil) of external protective embankments of the non-hazardous waste landfill (hereinafter referred to as the landfill) sections of the Šiauliai region landfill (hereinafter referred to as the landfill). The Contractor, taking into account the wishes expressed by the Customer, which are provided in the technical specification and the drawings of the landfill operation plan provided, will be obliged to install external protective embankments of the landfill sections with the help of his technique from the mineral soil he brought with him.
1. The Customer shall notify the Contractor of the need to start the installation of external protective embankments by means of a separate written notice. Upon receipt of the Customer's written notification of the need to start work on the installation of protective embankments, regardless of the current time of year and the outside temperature, the contractor must start work no later than within 14 days.
2. The contractor, in accordance with the drawings provided by the Customer for the installation of external protective embankments, with the help of his technical staff and technical inventory, will be obliged to carry out the marking of the installation of embankments (position, slopes of the slopes, height of the embankment, etc.).
3. With the help of their own technique, properly install, i.e. load and bring the soil for the formation of the embankment, spread the brought soil, form a protective embankment and compact it. The slopes of the outer slopes of the protective embankments are installed in a ratio of 1:3, the internal protective slopes of the embankment (to the side of the heap) are formed with a slope of 1:1. The height of the external protective embankment should be 2.0 m.
4. The soil used in the formation of protective embankments shall be compacted with the compaction techniques available to the Contractor. When carrying out work on the installation of external protective embankments, the contractor must take into account the fact that the external protective embankments during the period of operation of the section and the entire landfill must not lose their shape and the formed corresponding slope. Any loss of the shape or slope of the formed outer protective embankment shall be rectified by the Contractor free of charge.
5. The Contractor must have at his disposal a sufficient quantity of machinery to carry out the works envisaged. Techniques for performing work may be needed at different times of the year. The equipment used will have to be in perfect technical condition, with spark catchers and other necessary protective equipment, since the equipment will work in an easily flammable open area of the landfill.
