For the Clinic for Radiology and the Central Emergency Department at the Halle University Hospital (Saale), this procurement is intended to replace a computer tomograph from 2008 in the Central Emergency Department. A CT with at least 128 channels should be procured for the care and diagnostics of the patients in the central emergency room. The system must correspond to the current state of the art. In particular with a view to emergency diagnostics, low radiation levels as well as excellent image quality and correspondingly short computing times for modern polytrauma care are the absolute minimum requirements for the CT device to be procured.

The procurement includes the preparatory measures for the introduction of the device, the delivery, the connection and installation, as well as the commissioning with expert examination and acceptance according to. the legal requirements. Instruction and training is also part of the service.
