Sussex Downs College is 1 of the largest general further education colleges in the country. The College are tendering for a cleaning services provider to operate at each of their 3 campuses in East Sussex. The overall scope of the contract is to include all cleaning requirements including internal and external routine and non-routine activities. The contract will be fixed cost against the specification provided, and as an indication of contract size the total internal space for cleaning is approximately 44 173 m2.

The aim of the tender exercise is to agree a contract for the provision of a comprehensive, seamless and flexible cleaning service with a partnership approach at all 3 campuses of Sussex Downs College, providing ‘best value’ for the College throughout.

Expressions of interest are sought from companies experienced in cleaning education sites. The contract is for 3 years with 2 possible extension years on a 1 plus 1 basis.
