The procurement of a single door, floor-standing steam autoclave for sterilization of utility equipment for a laboratory animal unit with containment level 2 (BSL-2).

The procurement includes a single door, floor-standing steam autoclave with an integrated steam generator for sterilization of equipment with drying process and autoclaving of liquid with refrigeration and necessary accessories to cover the application.

The purpose of the autoclave is to sterilise rodent food, bottles of drinking water and equipment such as surgical instruments, cages for mice and rats, bedding, nesting material, textiles/surgical drapes and HEPA filters. The containment level for the department is BSL-2.
