Kempens Landschap wants to take the tourist access to the Ursuline Institute and, in particular, the 'Winter Garden zone' to a higher level, and in 2016 submitted a leverage project to VISITFLANDERS. This leverage project makes it possible to make a leap in scale in terms of reception, experience and safety. The focus is on realizing a high-quality individual visitor trail. In order to make the 'Winter Garden zone' accessible to individual visitors, various rooms must be redesigned (according to a new scenography) and equipped with the necessary techniques. Furthermore, a number of restorative interventions must be carried out. The courtyard project and the car park are also being redesigned via the leverage project.
