Air Commodities delivery team (ACDT) have an enduring requirement for Jet Air Start Trolley’s (JAST) and Houchin Air Start Trolley’s which are needed to support multiple Air platforms within the UK and overseas. The equipment list is available in the statement of work attached to the questionnaire as supporting documentation. This requirement consists of providing spares provisioning which the contractor is required to provide for the authority.

The authority is looking to place a 2-year spares support contract with a prime contractor. The prime contractor will be expected to source equipment spares to enable our fleet of Houchin/Rheinmetall Jet Air Start Trolleys. The equipment list is available in the statement of work attached to the questionnaire as supporting documentation.

As a prime contractor it is expected that there will be a need to engage with other organisations to deliver the authority’s requirements.

Spares demands will be placed by the authority to the contractor on an ad-hoc basis. The contractor will be expected to deliver the spares in accordance with the firm prices and lead times provided within the agreement. The authority reserves the right to reject items which are not compliant with the technical specifications or requirements.

The contractor shall be responsible for all packaging between their premises and distribution to the authority’s designated delivery address. All packaging of equipment shall be in accordance with the contract terms and conditions unless otherwise stated by the authority. Non codified parts will be delivered directly to the address of the customer placing the demand and all codified parts will be delivered to MOD supply chain partner.
