This is a Contract Award Notice (Intention to Award) utilising Direct Award Process C under the Provider Selection Regime.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 4th December 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR

This Contract is in relation to the Tier 2 weight management service for all Tower Hamlets residents who meet the eligibility criteria. This service will be expected to be accessible to all residents (provided they meet eligibility) including those with both mental and physical disabilities in which case reasonable adjustments as per requirements under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 will be offered by Providers to facilitate and maintain access. The contracting authority’s representatives will actively monitor this.

This Contract is intended to be awarded to the existing Provider utilising direct award process C under the PSR2023

The approximate value of the Contract is £125,000 per annum for an initial two year period with the option to extend for a further one year period
