The subject of the order is a scientific study on the new upper level structure of the vocational grammar schools. In particular, the contractor shall (1) record the learning starting position of pupils at the beginning of the entrance level at the vocational grammar school multidimensionally, (2) record the whereabouts of the pupils within the entrance level and (3) lay down the prerequisites for a longitudinal observation of the learning process towards the ability to study. The contractor should also provide a comparison of learning starting points and funding effect with suitable comparative schools.
The research design must be submitted by 1 February 2023. The scientific investigation must begin with an initial survey in spring 2023 of the students of the entrance class and a main survey at the latest at the beginning of the school year 2023/24. The development of the examination instruments must be completed by the main survey.
