The aim of the tender is to contract a party, resulting in the replacement of the current lighting to LED lighting in order to comply with the frameworks of the Environmental Act, to become more sustainable and to exploit savings opportunities for Saxion.

The purpose of the tender is to contract a party for the replacement of the lighting in Saxion's buildings in accordance with the demarcation drawings. It's about indoor lighting.

Within scope is:

• supplying and installing lighting fixtures, the associated light sources and accessories including mounting brackets, track, suspension devices and drivers;

• the removal of the old lighting installation;

• the removal of old disused installation parts;

• adjusting the electrical installation(s);

• additional work/costs for repositioning luminaires (if necessary, specified per location);

• the light switching devices such as switches, sensors, etc., as well as (adjustments to) control panels;

• applying and changing the lighting control including programming.

The assignment also includes:

• all horizontal and vertical transport must be included;

• all climbing and scaffolding materials must be included;

• any (small) adjustments to the ceiling and/or other small visible imperfections on the spot of old removed luminaires;

• emergency lighting that is integrated into regular lighting fixtures.

Outside scope:

• outdoor lighting;

• emergency lighting fixtures with only a function in the event of calamities;

• maintenance after the warranty period with the exception of contributing to the fulfillment of the manufacturer's warranty.

The implementation of this project should take place with as little inconvenience as possible to the educational process, in coordination with Saxion's Scheduling and Testing department. In addition, the Contractor must use the holiday periods to carry out preparatory and (noise) burdensome work.

For location Epy drost, this can be freely planned for a large part in test weeks, and from quartile 2 it is probably possible to plan a certain floor free per week, etc. in coordination with Saxion.
