Internal process analyzes across various departments also show that maintaining municipal patrimony is a top priority in its global nature.

With regard to the level of maintenance, reference is also made to the scale values of the quality catalog for public spaces of 2010. The overall impression that prevails when viewing the public green space is of the order of a good to very well maintained garden. This can be deduced, when touring the municipality of Knokke-Heist, from the smooth transition between the very well-maintained private gardens and the municipal greenery. The candidate foreman must have the necessary competence, resources and organization within his team to maintain or improve the existing level where possible.
