The purpose of this contract is to have experts so that, together with the expert appointed by the Insurance Compensation Consortium (in accordance with Law 50/80), they determine the damages caused to our infrastructures by extraordinary events, in order to establish and agree on possible compensation for ADIF.
Indicate that damage occurred in the railway infrastructure (except tunnels and bridges) of ADIF and ADIF AV is considered as a claim compensable by the Insurance Compensation Consortium whenever the circumstances related to the PCP occur.
As a consequence of the occurrence of extraordinary risks (extraordinary floods, atypical cyclonic storm, etc.), damage to ADIF's railway infrastructure usually occurs.
These damages are covered within those granted by the Insurance Compensation Consortium (CCS), being necessary to determine the possible compensation for ADIF to have the services of an expert from part, so that together with the expert designated by the CCS, they determine damage caused to railway infrastructure.
