The Central Finland Hospital District will put out to tender non-urgent patient transfer services between care institutions departing from the Jyväskylä region, which will be carried out by taxis, disabled vehicles and stretcher vehicles. Patient transfer transport refers to transports that are covered by the payment obligation of care institutions (inpatient wards of primary health care centres and wards of municipal old people's homes).
The service is complementary in nature. As a rule, the client aims to produce patient transfers between treatment facilities with its own equipment and staff. If the Customer does not carry out the patient transfer itself, it can be carried out in this tendering process by selected service providers in accordance with the invitation to tender.
