The subject matter of the present award procedure is a framework agreement with an economic operator pursuant to § 21 para. 3 VgV for the procurement of an endpoint security interface control for the hospitals of Sana Kliniken AG as call-off clients (Annex 3 to the contract).
The existing security infrastructure of the authorized clients is to be expanded and supplemented by an endpoint security interface control.
The control of the interfaces of the computers used is an effective supplement to the protection against threats. This is intended to increase protection against known and unknown threats on clients and servers.
What is required is the fine-grained control of all device interfaces that are accessible for any software of the AG. This applies in particular to interfaces of terminal server sessions and virtual desktops, which are used to a considerable extent throughout the Group.
The software to be procured should also be maintained; a comprehensive service should also be available during the term of the contract.
In addition, the software is to be installed by the contractor in the clinics authorized to call and implemented in their security architecture.
The framework agreement is a contract concluded for the term specified in the notice which obliges the contractor(s) to perform the services called up with individual contracts under the conditions laid down in the framework agreement and the respective individual contract.
These individual contracts shall be awarded exclusively by the contracting entities referred to in Appendix 3 "List of contracting entities" to the undertaking(s) which is(or are) party to the framework agreement at that time.
The clients entitled to call (Annex 3) are recipients of subsidies from the Hospital Future Act and are obliged to comply with procurement law by the funding decision. Some contracting authorities are bound by (antitrust) procurement law as contracting authorities within the meaning of the GWB.
The KHZG is driving digitization forward. In the course of continuous digitization, IT security must also be further expanded so that critical IT infrastructures are protected in the best possible way.
In compliance with the legal requirements of the procurement regulations, the planned projects for the introduction or expansion of an endpoint security interface control in the clinics authorized to access them will be put out to tender in order to protect computer workstations.
The details of the specific procurement project can be found in the procurement documents.
