Framework agreement for construction machinery services
Scope of procurement
The procurement concerns a framework agreement for the supply of construction machinery with drivers that UM (Contracting Authority) will call off for work in connection with the maintenance of streets and squares, pedestrian and bicycle paths, excavation, transport, construction, maintenance in the management of municipal properties.
UM has previously had a framework agreement for construction machinery services, but then a large part of the calls were maintenance of stormwater wells and for that a separate procurement has now been made, which makes the current need for construction machinery services difficult to assess. UM estimates that the need under this agreement will be approximately SEK 600,000 per year. The bidder may regard this as a guide to the scope. UM does not provide any guarantee for the same extent during the contract period, but the scope may change during this period.
The maximum volume for the framework agreement is SEK 5,000,000. When purchases on this agreement have reached the maximum volume, the agreement shall expire as soon as possible and a new procurement will be carried out. The maximum volume should not be confused with the estimated scope of the procurement.
The agreement is intended to be valid for four (4) years. From the time the agreement has run for 18 months, the City of Landskrona may terminate the agreement with six (6) months' notice. Once the agreement has run for four (4) years, it expires without notice. The start date of the agreement may be postponed in the event of an appeal and in the event of events that UM could not reasonably have foreseen. The total contract period will remain unchanged.
UM reserves the right to make separate procurements for larger individual purchases.
Limitations: The agreement does not apply to maintenance of stormwater drains, garbage collection, delivery of gravel/soil/macadam, demolition work, construction of properties, construction work that is not entirely carried out in-house, paving work and winter road maintenance in the villages outside the city center. Some work should be seen as a complement to services provided by the City itself, such as winter road maintenance.
