The concession has as its object the assignment of the service of collection of solid and liquid waste from ships and minor ships, of the residues associated with the cargo produced by the ships in the ports of Piombino, Portoferraio, Rio Marina and in the Pontile di Cavo, referred to in Legislative Decree 197/2021, according to the procedures set out in the Special Specifications describing the performance. The service provides for the collection, transport and delivery to authorized facilities, for storage, treatment and starting recovery or disposal, of all solid and liquid waste produced by ships calling at the ports mentioned above, according to the procedures set out in the current waste collection and management plan as well as any changes made to it during the validity of the concession.
