The contract defines the conditions under which the CEA entrusts the Contractor, which accepts, with the supply of ten (10) sets of magnetic shields for the LB650 cryomodules within the framework of the PIP-II project
The services of the lump sum part entrusted to the Account Holder are divided into three phases described as follows:
Phase 1: a manufacturing study phase. This phase will start from the kick-off meeting. The manufacturing study will be based on the drawings communicated by the CEA validated at the "for realization" stage,
Phase 2: A manufacturing phase of one (1) pre-production armor assembly (MS0), each armor consisting of one (1) "hot" armor and four (4) "cold" armors. For this phase, the CEA reserves the right to make some minor changes to the plans submitted during phase 1. The Account Holder undertakes to take these changes into account without financial consequences.
Phase 3: A manufacturing phase of nine (9) series armor assemblies (MS1 to MS9), i.e. 9 "hot" shields and 36 "cold" shields.
For this phase, the CEA reserves the right to make changes in order to take into account the results of phase 2. The Account Holder undertakes to take these changes into account.
