Renovation of historic brick facade.
The monument “Altes Rathaus Rheinberg” is to be rebuilt according to a newly developed concept of use. After dismantling and gutting work in various building areas, the building envelope follows a renovation.
For the construction of the facade and roof renovation, the building including the corner tower (h~30 m) is carried out. The duration of the entire facade renovation is estimated at 12 weeks.
In addition to upgrading the roof truss including new roofing, the shell renovation includes the facade renovation advertised here. For this purpose, the façade is to be completely cleaned using low-pressure blasting. The listed brick surfaces are partly newly grooded. The natural stone plinth panels are dismantled and secured for subsequent replacement.
— 120 sqm protective window and door openings
— 1 plaster inspection and damage documentation façade,
— clean 860 sqm of façade surfaces using low-pressure blasting,
— 3 pieces of production of test surfaces,
— 15 sqm partial replacement of brick masonry (< 2%),
— 80 sqm of re-grouting brick masonry (10%),
— dismantle 60 sqm of natural stone plinth panels,
— 65 m of cornice to renovate a listed cornice,
— Clean 140 sqm of internal masonry using low-pressure blasting.
