The procurement concerns a contract for the execution and delivery of equipment for the project 66kV (132kV) Ølen - Våg - Bratthammar.
Fagne AS will build a new 66 kV power line isolated for 132 kV with a total length of approx. 36.7 km, between Ølen Transformer Station, via Våg transformer station, and to Bratthammar, where the line will be connected with existing lines further towards the Spanne transformer station.
The line will be built with a double course suspended vertically in towers of steel trusses, with a continuous topline OPGW. The existing 66kV concrete and three-mast lines between Ølen - Våg and Våg - Bratthammer will be demolished.

The project is divided into the following three sections:
Ølen - Vatnedalen:
The contract work on this section consists of dismantling the existing 66 kV lines and building a new 132 kV line on the section Ølen - Vatnedalen. The new line mainly consists of 39 double-course truss masts in steel with a simple topline OPGW.
Vatnedalen - Våg (Option 1 [BC1]):
The contract work on this section consists of dismantling of existing 66 kV lines and construction of a new 132 kV line on the section Vatnedalen - Våg. The new line mainly consists of 63 double-course truss masts in steel with a simple topline OPGW.
This section is designed as an option for Fagne AS. This means that Fagne has the right, but not the obligation, to use this part of the contract. The deadline for Fagne AS to call off the option is set for 1 October 2023.
Våg - Bratthammer (Option 2):
The contract work on this section consists of dismantling the existing 66 kV lines and building a new 132 kV line on the section Våg - Bratthammer. The new line mainly consists of 38 double-course truss masts in steel with a single top line OPGW.
This section is also designed as an option for Fagne AS. This means that Fagne has the right, but not the obligation, to use this part of the contract. If Fagne AS does not use Option 1, Option 2 will not be exercised either. The deadline for Fagne AS to call off Option 2 is set for 1 October 2024.
The contract work on all of the sections mentioned above also includes deforestation along a new line route, concrete foundations for new masts, etc. See part II - contract documentation for further information on the project, contract division and the contract work.
The project is set to start in December 2022 with an expected completion date of 20 June 2027.
