The contractor (AN) conducts a study on burdens, resources and the use of support services from families in different stress situations.
The contractor conducts a study on burdens, resources and the use of support services from families in different stress situations. The data collection is carried out in combination of quantitative (questionnaire) and qualitative methods (in-depth interviews) in the context of home visits to about 120 families. In addition, a maximum of 15-minute video recordings of parent-child interactions are to be made.
The evaluation of the video recordings is carried out separately and is not part of the order. The sample is made up of families who have taken part in a nationally representative online survey conducted by the NZFH and have given their consent to contact them for a further survey. In order to support the development of the interview guideline, a focus group with psychosocially stressed mothers will be conducted, transcribed and analysed in the run-up to the survey in the sense of participatory research. Another focus group to be offered as an option, which is to take place after the home visits have been completed. This is used to check the category formation, the content analysis, the in-depth interviews, as well as the implications of the results of the study. This focus group will be composed of participants in the home visits. The assignment thus includes the recruitment, preparation, and implementation of data collection from families in the context of home visits, the content analysis of the in-depth interviews and associated reporting, as well as the organization, implementation and reporting of the focus group(s) described above.
Further details can be found in the specifications (Annex 03).
