The Broadband County wants to purchase new IP core routers that have greater capacity, modularity and scalability compared to the current routers. The background of the procurement is the increasing digitalisation in the municipal and County sector, which have greater demands related to capacity, speed and redundancy.
The Broadband County shall initially purchase eight routers, of which one of these shall be used as back-up. The County also requests options for the delivery of four additional routers that can increase the core network in accordance with requirements.
The procured routers must support 100 Gbps interface and must be fitted physically to our existing node cabins.
