In the existing building, there are two chillers with 400 kW each and the associated table coolers on the roof to supply the refrigeration network. The older of the two chillers is to be replaced by a new chiller with a cooling capacity of 900 kW, so that the refrigeration network can have a total cooling capacity of 1,300 kW in the future.
All plant components, such as pipeline network, buffer tank, pressure control, etc., will be extended, renewed or enlarged with 400 kW compared to the currently existing installation according to the new requirements (900 kW). The possibility of free cooling should also be available in the future. An enlargement of the free cooler system is necessary. The two existing recoolers, for which an outdated chiller with a cooling capacity of 400 kW are to be replaced by modern recoolers with adiabatic recooling for the planned new kW cooling system. The new rear chairs are to be installed outdoors, not on the roof.
