On the grounds of Pfaffenteich is the main building, the rector building and in the back of the school auxiliary building and the gymnasium.

The state capital intends to convert the gymnasium and the secondary school building into a KITA facility with approx. 72 children.

Owner of the land plot is the state capital Schwerin. The property is located in the redevelopment area Sehelfstadt and thus in the remediation special assets of the LGE Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (fiduciary restructuring agency). The property is managed by the WGS.

The gymnasium stands as a single monument under monument protection. It is used by individual sports clubs and has a considerable need for repair.

The measure is to be financed from urban development funds (federal, state and local funds).

In a first step, a use and space concept was developed for the gymnasium and the courtyard side building according to the specifications of the Kita gGmbH with a cost estimate according to DIN 276 from an architectural office.

The utilization concept and the spatial program to be developed are to form the basis for the further renovation and development of the buildings.

With the results of the utilization and spatial concept, a modernization report was commissioned to apply for urban development funds from the federal state / state and the municipality. To concretize the total costs a corresponding planning service is required.
