Various replacement pumps are being procured for an existing system for the replacement of defective components, which has been successively built up with the first components from the manufacturer Pfeiffer Vacuum GmbH.

When the contract is awarded, the framework agreement for "HiPAce700 Turbo Drag Pumps and Accessories" is granted and runs for 3 years without the need for written termination.

The calls from the framework agreement are mainly carried out by GSI, FAIR Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research in Europe GmbH, as well as the GSI branch offices, the Helmholtz Institute Mainz (HIM) and the Helmholtz Institute Jena (HIJ). Each institution authorized to call it is responsible for compliance with all contractual rights and obligations.

By concluding this framework agreement, GSI undertakes only to purchase the quantities of the items listed as FIX in the Excel spreadsheet "Detailed price information according to the service description".

However, for all other quantities marked as "option" in the delivery years 2024-2026, GSI does not yet enter into any obligation to place further orders/call-offs. Only with the placement of individual call-offs does GSI enter into an acceptance obligation in the amount of the quantities requested for the respective call-off.

The framework agreement shall be concluded with the economic operator who is in a position to offer and supply all types/articles specified or enumerated in these terms of reference.
