The purpose of this Framework Agreement is the provision of adapted and assisted transport service in the basic area of social services of Vallès Oriental for the achievement of the following objectives:

a) select the natural or legal persons that may provide the adapted and assisted transport service,

b) determine the general conditions of award and execution to which the contracts based on this framework agreement must be adjusted.

By virtue of the exercise of the competence that has been delegated to the Regional Council, this contract intends to make effective the right of people to live with dignity during all stages of life by covering their basic personal needs and social needs in the framework of social justice and welfare of people, established in Law 12/2007, of October 11, on social services.

This is intended to ensure the integration of people who have mobility difficulties or need for accompaniment through a transport system adapted to the degree of their support needs and enabling access to the specialized social services of the public network.
