— MI Reporting,
— Customer service improvement.
This tender has been designed to provide the supplier with options to bid for 1 or all 7 of the following lots:
Lot 1: Core devices
Lot 2: Disposal
Lot 3: Monitoring Equipment
Lot 4: Cannulae and Peripheral.
Lot 5: Specialist Cannulae.
Lot 6: Cell Salvage.
Lot 7: Catheters.
UHSM are looking to source core devices within lot 1 in connection with a competitive procurement of Medical Consumable Products, the lots will incorporate provision to tender for UHSM current usage and the information provide in this specification is designed to enable supplier to allocate the requirements to the specific lots.
The hospital provides a well-established and robust service and is looking for suppliers to provide competitive prices for. UHSM current usage of core devices are shown within the spreadsheets illustrated below:

Lot 2 is for the provision of removing clinical waste, medical and sharp needles that have been utilised for patients receiving treatment at hospital from the NHS.

The importance of monitoring the perfusion of tissue under test resulting from the flow of arterial blood and more particularly concerns accurately monitoring the perfusion of this tissue substantially independently of the degree of oxygenation of the blood by means of optical radiation transmitted through the tissue and UHSM are looking for the following equipment to enable the hospital to progress to a state of the art facility.
Peripheral venous catheters are commonly used UHSM along with Arterial Cannula hospitals to deliver intravenous therapy, this lot is designed to allow your organisation provide a competitive and fair market value bid.
On some occasions the perfusion clinician may need specialised consumables for this reason a separate lot has been introduced to the tender to cater for this scenario.
The Cell salvage service is currently contracted out until 12.2017; the lot has been introduced to this tender awarding to the successful bidding on the 7.11.2017 and contracting the service from 30.11.2018 for the remainder of this contract term (11 month plus extensions of 2 x 12 months).
