The object of the tender is the telemedical supply of insured persons of AOK Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland by the contractor under a special supply contract pursuant to Section 140a (4a) SGB V.

The object of the tender is the telemedical supply of insured persons of AOK Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland by the contractor within the framework of a special supply contract pursuant to Section 140a (4a) of the German Civil Code (SGB). Telemedicine supply by the contractor takes place in the federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. The contractor does not provide any diagnostic or therapeutic services. The pension programme shall supplement the supply by providers entitled under Chapter Fourth of SGB V, but does not replace medical services.

A selection of insured persons who are particularly beneficial from the care is made by the client. The original acquisition of participants and initial approach of insured persons is carried out by the AOK RPS. After contacting the insured with the contractor, the enrollment of the insured in the contract is carried out by the contractor. The care of the insured persons in the pension programme is provided by the contractor.

Supervision includes daily monitoring of signs and complaints of the treatment indication or indications. For this purpose, insured persons have access to an online portal and/or access via an app. The collected values are continuously and automatically transmitted to the contractor and checked there. The portal/app also allows participants to self-monitor their progress through feedback and evaluations.
