The purpose of the contract is to provide audit services to suppliers on the aspects of quality, health, safety, environmental, sustainable development and social responsibility on behalf of EDF SA, its subsidiaries and ENEDIS. These services are part of a context in which EDF is committed to ethics and sustainable development.
These audit services are prescribed on the one hand by the EDF Purchasing Department and on the other by the ENEDIS Purchasing Department.

The services relating to lot 1 are audit assignments to be carried out by suppliers of the EDF group and / or their own suppliers and subcontractors, and may concern any type of structure (head office, subsidiary, regional or local management, offices, laboratories, factories or workshops, etc.).
These missions can also be carried out on EDF's sites where the suppliers intervene.
For the EDF group purchasing department, the audit services include the product-supplier evaluation as regards compliance with the following policies:
- "Group Purchasing Policy",
- "Group sustainable development policy",
- "Ethical Policy & Group Compliance".
And as for the respect of environmental and social criteria and the quality assurance of products and services purchased, in a context of relocation of certain suppliers and distance from manufacturing sites.
This concerns all suppliers of the EDF group, services, services, materials and equipment used in the fields of engineering and energy production, tertiary, real estate, intellectual services, including including insurance, banking, IT and telecoms.
Types of audit to perform:
- product quality / supplier quality audit (type Q), including pre-detection of environmental and social risks,
- environmental audit / supplier (type E), including a pre-detection of social risks,
- Sustainability audit / supplier social responsibility (DD-RS),
- combined audits Product quality / environmental supplier (type Q / E),
- combined audits Product quality / sustainable development social responsibility supplier (type Q / DD-RS),
- Combined audits Environmental / Sustainability Corporate Social Responsibility Supplier (Type E / SD-RS).
Typology of audits:
- "deepening" audit (concerns a new supplier): verification according to a basic repository adapted to the type of audit, to the site (s) involved in the manufacture of a product and / or the realization of a service, information given by a new supplier in his response to the EDF supplier questionnaire and obtaining additional information in order to pronounce his aptitude,
- "Evaluation" or "Standard" audit (concerns a contracted supplier): verification according to a basic repository adapted to the type of audit, on the site (s) involved in the production of a product and / or the production of a service, production conditions, in particular on the production line, and provisions adopted by the supplier to guarantee the conformity of the mass-produced product (possibly pre-series) to the model that made the product subject to type acceptance and to ensure existing working conditions at the supplier, its own suppliers and subcontractors and their non-contradiction with the principles and fundamental rights described above and with the sustainable development charter signed between EDF and the supplier,
- "Follow-up" or "lightened" audit: less comprehensive audit than the standard audit, focused on specific points,
- "Spot" audit: lightened type audit, very targeted on some points of the repository well identified in the order of execution.

The services relating to the lot 2 are services of evaluation of criteria of quality, safety, social responsibility and environmental of its suppliers of works. This contract is part of Enedis' Supplier Qualification Program (PQF).
The concerned Enedis suppliers specialize in the following areas:
- civil works,
- electrical engineering work,
- the work of electrical connections (low and medium voltage: 20kv),
- earthworks (trench on the public domain),
- pruning of vegetation near electric overhead lines,
- asbestos removal work in industrial buildings,
- studies of electrical networks, network mapping and geolocation of electricity networks ...
The Supplier Qualification Program is divided into 3 successive stages:
- step 1: administrative phase: sending the questionnaires to the audited suppliers on their governance and their activity (technical), receiving and processing responses, relaunching suppliers,
- step 2: audit phase: performing the audit at the supplier,
- step 3: the realization of test sites.
ENEDIS entrusts the auditing provider (s) with the completion of stage 1 and stage 2.
ENEDIS may be required to order an administrative analysis service alone or an audit service from the sole supplier or a combined service comprising the completion of stage 1 and stage 2.
