The Authority is seeking Suppliers who are able to meet the following Key Goals/Vision relating to this Point of Care Testing (POCT) tender exercise:
— Provide innovative solutions to support a continuous 24 hour service.
— Innovative ways of linking POCT and self-testing to the digital world.
— Reduce the need for repeat GP, Clinic and hospital visits.
— Improving treatment compliance and reducing the risk of transmission.
— Clinician-directed self-testing.
— Comply with ISO 22870/15189.
— Deliver value for money to the Public.
This tender exercise covers the provision for Tameside Acute Hospital and Tameside and Glossop Community.
The tender is split into 8 (eight) Lots. Tenders may be submitted for 1, for several, or for all of the Lots. The Authority is not obliged to award all Lots. The Authority may award more than 1 lot to the same tenderer with no restriction on which lots may be combined.
In order for the Trust to maximise the efficiency gains, the successful suppliers are expected to co-operate with the managed service provider of the POCT if applicable and/or the main blood sciences managed service Provider (TBC).
