The target of the procurement is the construction of the electricity distribution network, connection work, maintenance, on-call operations, fault repairs, warehousing services and other tasks in the area of Vaasan Sähköverkko Oy. Construction, maintenance and fault repair work mainly concerns the Client's 0.4 kV and 20 kV electrical network and related equipment.

The more detailed contents of all the works are defined in the procurement documents attached to the invitation to tender.

The value of the annual procurements to be procured is approximately EUR 7.2 million. The number of orders may vary due to the annual variation in network building. The procurement will be put out to tender as a construction contract, as approximately 70 per cent

procurement is of a contract type.

The client reserves the right to put out to tender separately project-related construction and/or renovation-related construction contracts.

The contract period is fixed from 1.1.2024 to 31.12.2026, after which the contract will continue until further notice.

In exchange for unit pricing, the Supplier undertakes to carry out the construction work and services that are the subject of the procurement in accordance with the agreement and its appendices. Construction, maintenance and fault repair work mainly concerns the Client's 0.4 kV and 20 kV electrical network and related equipment.

The technical materials required for the construction of the electricity network and the provision of other services are included in the entity to be procured. The technical materials are specified in the procurement documents attached to the invitation to tender.

The entity to be procured is divided into two geographical areas:

- Contracting area 1 (Vaasa and Laihia), which is shown on the map in Appendix 2. Contracting areas map. The estimated annual procurement value of the area is approximately EUR 4.3 million.

- Contracting area 2 (Vöyri, Mustasaari, Maalahti, Korsnäs and the northern part of Närpes), which is shown on the map in Appendix 2. Contracting areas map. The estimated annual value of procurements in the area is approximately EUR 2.9 million.

As a result of the tendering process, two suppliers will be selected to carry out the procurement. The first-place bidder will be selected as the supplier in Contracting Area 1 and the second-place bidder will be selected as the supplier in Contracting Area 2.

The supplier selected for each contracting area is responsible for the services in its own contracting area. An exception to this rule is periodic inspections of maintenance, which are the responsibility of the supplier in the entire Contracting Area 2. Another exception is the warehouse service, which is entirely the responsibility of the Contracting Area 1 supplier.

The procurement will be divided into two geographical areas, as this is a critical service for electricity distribution and energy security, making it a priority to try to limit the geographical scope of possible service disruptions. Choosing two different suppliers, on the other hand, reduces the risk of a simultaneous service outage in a large area.

The content of the procurement is described in detail in the procurement documents attached to the invitation to tender. The general terms and conditions of the procurement are the general terms and conditions of the works YSE 1998.

The price information of the offer must be reported in unit prices in the appendix "1.4 Vaasan Sähköverkko Oy, units 2024–2026". The reference price is calculated as the sum of the quantities per unit indicated in the list of unit prices and the income from the unit prices offered.

The same tenderer or a bidder belonging to the same group (e.g. parent company, subsidiary and sister company) may be selected as a supplier for only one contracting area.
