Description:
ZV - Regiomed-Kliniken GmbH - Introduction of digital speech recognition

Digital speech recognition.

The Regiomed clinics currently use a highly manual or analog process with numerous interfaces, travel times and idle times in the medical typing service.

The goal is the transition from manual keyboard entries to digital speech recognition throughout the hospital.

The dictation machines should fulfill the following functions:

- Prioritization and comment functions when recording,

- self-learning speech recognition,

- Interrupt function of dictation recordings,

- The recorder and upload center can operate several dictation servers at the same time,

- Display of departmental and document-related dictation aids when recording,

- Calling up recorder, playback and upload functions from the HIS via URL,

- full integration in ORBIS,

- Integration in standard applications such as browsers and Office products.

The digital speech recognition must ensure a connection to the HIS, ORBIS, in order to guarantee a clear assignment to the respective patient.

As before, it should be possible to transfer parameterized documentation on diagnoses, functional diagnostics, findings, etc. from the doctor's letters / findings in ORBIS. It is sufficient if the type, scope and destination of the data transfer in the digital speech recognition are indicated.

Smooth operation, even with numerous dictations taking place at the same time, must be guaranteed for the approx. 600 users.

The software must be embedded in the Regiomed-Kliniken GmbH's IT environment and function.

The application is to be operated on-premises. Compliance with data protection according to BayKrG: Art. 27 must be guaranteed by the manufacturer.

The digital speech recognition infrastructure that is ready for operation should be in place by March 1, 2021, if possible. If the customizing and the general infrastructure of digital speech recognition are prepared for productive use, a step-by-step activation / integration of the facilities in a staggered conversion to digital speech recognition is possible and is aimed for over a period of 5 months. The implementation in the facilities is to be accelerated through the first pilot projects, starting on February 22, 2021 with one specialist department per location. Two weeks are set for the pilot phase, followed by a two-week evaluation phase, until the first conversion at the Lichtenfels Clinic begins. The pilot stations in the other facilities are to continue to be operated.

The following periods are planned as the time frame for the conversion of the individual houses after the initial installation:

1. Lichtenfels Clinic - 1.3.2021-31.3.2021,

2. Hildburghausen Clinic - April 1, 2021 - April 15, 2021,

3. MEDINOS clinics - April 16, 2021 - May 15, 2021,

4. Coburg & Neustadt Clinic - May 16, 2021 - June 30, 2021.

The aim is to fully implement digital speech recognition by June 30, 2021.
